Not sure if this is cool putting it here but...

Just saw petco is doing $1/gallon again till 1/25/14.

Last sale they were doing tetra tanks, are the sides of tetras tempered? can you drill them?

Not really sure, ive been trying to google some reviews. Hopefully someone whos bought one can jump in.

Grabbed one during the last $1 sale and using it as a sump. Honestly, it's horrible. I would only use it as a sump/qt and nothing else. The silicone job is very poor and the frame looks thicker. I haven't measured but I just can tell. I have a aqueon 40b that I was using for a frag tank and that just looks and feels of better quality.

I would take a look and see if an aqueon tank is still available in your petco. I believe some of them still have some backstock. Also go take a look at the tetra tank for yourself. I might not like them but you might, it's $29 so it's a great deal regardless. I just don't want you to get discouraged haha.

Haha, ill go take a look but last time they had the sale as soon as I walked in and saw tetras I walked out so well see. Might pick up a small tank for a QT though.

I picked up a 40B and a 20L last time around. The 40B has a lot of bubbles in the silicone, but I cracked the glass on it, so that was that. The 20L is going to be a sump. Some tanks looked better than others, so check the seams and try to grab a nice one.

Last time around the Petco by me was fully stick with aqueon tanks and did not have the tetra tanks. Check around some of the less frequented stores might still have the aqueons.

Also I'm not sure if the 29's are included. I thought it was only 10,20,&40.

I am at work and the $1 gal sale is on right now. The cherryhill petxo is out of 40B at the moment but the good neww is that we have aqueon tanks right now

I when to petco at Rt 3 in Clifton on my lunch time and all they have is tetras tank all sizes.
