Hi everyone!! Wander how many of you get your ph over 8.53/55 before that’s what I get at my pick hour. Honestly thanks God everything looks good sps/lps .
But want to see how many people get this type of ph as I hear could be dangerous.
Thanks in advance

That ph should be fine. You can turn off your refugium if you have one. You can run it for less hours. Turning your skimmer off will also lower it. What salt are you using? Some salts mix with a high ph.

I would also check with different ph probes.
in my house I use the apex/ Hanna/ seneye
And they all give me different numbers.

No sump or Refugion! I try to Only buy Hanna as they are accurate. I was reading an articulate last night about it. Also wanted to know how many people here run it like that here and how their coral are doing

Hanna can be off by a whole point. I wouldn’t change anything. My setup is in the basement so my ph is always low. I open windows/ dose kalk / run a huge skimmer and I run my line outside/ I run a refugium and my ph is low 8-1 -8-2 .
So I wish my ph was as high as yours. I wouldn’t do anything. If you corals are happy then leave it alone.
I know people that have posted ph as high as 8-7

I had mine shoot up to 8.6 for a day but never went that high again. Windows open but nothing else out of the ordinary.
