PH swing

My tanks' PH swings from about 8.4 to 7.9 respectively when the lights are turned out. Is that within tolerance or do you think i could be causing my inhabitants undue stress. Just wondering if that PH swing is acceptable or should i do something about it.Thanks for any feedback

That's a big swing. Running fuge lights on opposite light cycle to tank lighting might help a bit. What's your Alk? Your PH shouldn't swing so dramatically if your alk is right.
