The trees grow weird in La Jolla- they grow sideways?!?

The seawall where the seals hang out. As soon as noon came, people came. As soon as people came, some seals left. As soon as Merv came with his camera, almost all left. I was left with 4.

These guys were like, quit it already..

and then I got the "pflpbplbpblb" treatment.

a beautiful sight. not so beautiful smell. aaaahhhh.... G is for Guano!

These guys were many many many yards away..... and I'm glad that I was many many many yards away too! Have you ever smelled seal gift packages?!?!?

This guy is the boss (that's what the little guys told me)

Beautiful landscape. I had the urge to go down there and climb some rocks. It looked like a pretty good place to do some wall climbing too. The substrate was a little soft, mostly clay and packed sand-based. It was soft enough to carve your name on the cliff wall (why would anyone want to do that?). BUT seriously, it was nice, and I had the urge to climb down.

so I did. and there was a movie made out of it apparently!

and then I fell!
