Polyp or something ID ?

No it's definitely not a feather duster.... ??? It looks exactly like the tips of the coral in that link... but just sticking out of the live rock.... I never noticed it before, and there is a small colony in one spot and a few straglers in another spot on the same piece of rock...... I took a pic, but it's not clear enough.

u sure it's not some bristle worms right?

What color are the arms?

It's highly unlikely but another possibility is a filter feeding cuke. I had a couple of those hitch in on some LR i purchased from the gulf of mexico.

Def not a brittle star...... I found another similar pic..... but it is more like the first... about 8 leg things that are feathery... they don't extend as much as my star polyps... but have a similar look.... It is attached to the live rock... there is about 15ish in a cluster...... and then 3 tiny ones on the other side of the rock.

It is prob something really obvious.... and I will be embarrassed....LOL :-X

If xenia can start really small, maybe a bunch of single polyps of it ?? It is the same color (nude) as the links....
