With the weather getting nicer I thought it would be cool to see who has a pond. I don't have one of my own but I take care of a lot of them so I feel like I do. Who has a pond? Tell us a little about it and share some pictures.
A few pictures from the last 2 weeks

I don't have pictures but about 10 years ago my mother wanted 'the sound of water' while she sits on the front porch. I put a small 'pond' which had a small water fall with her light house above it. The water fall didn't last long (for some reason she didn't like it) so now the pump uses one of those flower heads. About a year ago one of her neighbors gave her feeder gold fish.

That above pond looks nice

At my old house I had 2. One was for koi the other was a bio filter and wood frogs, spotted salamanders would spawn. I had about 8 15 inch koi that got eaten one winter by a fisher. I plan on putting in 2 at our new home. The one only posative about our clay soil is dig a hole and the water sits. No liners needed.lol

This time of year plants like lilies are in full bloom along with others. In ponds these plants act like macro in a fuge.

Not great pictures but I had to share. Got to see this amazing pond at a bbq after the job I'm helping work on. For scale it's 65'x65' and the depth varies from 3' to almost 9' in some spots. Estimated at around 120,000 gallons and an estimated 300 tons of rock.

Pretty much finished up. Needs to be pumped out a few times to clear the water a bit more. In total there is a lot 13,000-15,000gph running through there.
