With all coral purchases, remember to dip and quarantine if possible. A friend of mine got a delivery last week from Pieces of the Ocean. All 5 Acropora had flat worms

Yes very understandable, and poop happens. It is our responsibility to check, dip and quarantine our purchases. I received the email from POTO too yesterday. I am very leery to purchase wondering if the big sale is do to flatworms

as someone who went through AEFW and it being the cause of loosing hundreds in $$$ in acros .... yeah.. please dip and QT if possible. and put it on a new frag plug! if you want to save the base if its encrusted just thoroughly check for eggs and cut the stem and super glue the crap out of the bottom as an extra pre caution.

I was thinking of going to get blasto but now ummmm.
What do you guys think should I just not even try. Although blasto is lps would that get flatworms too?
