So far the students seem to really enjoy learning science using reef aquariums. The highlights included designing hydrometers using straws and building algae scrubbers with food containers. They also enjoyed fragging some bird’s nest. The plan is to grow out the coral and sell it at a mini swap meet held at the school. This program is in its infancy with so many more things planned.
