Qt-ing with cupramine

I plan on setting up a 10g QT, are there certain fish that don't do well with cupramine treatments?

1. I plan on putting the fish in for 2 weeks and observing them
2. if I do not see any ich or other parasites then I will leave them be for another 2-3 weeks
3. If i see ich or other parasite I will treat with cupramine for 2 weeks
4. once cupramine treatment done then I will remove copper and observe for another 2 weeks.

That or maybe just go to Doc Jim for QT fish :X

You have a good plan there....I wouldn't use Copper unless it is a last resort. With ich I would use hypo. Copper is harsh on the fish.

I agree with Steve. Copper should be last resort. Hypo just involves using a refractometer and adding salt or RO water until you get it where you want it. Just make sure when you lower or increase salinity that you do it slowly and not big jumps.

no i have 2 halves :) WINNING
