OK I'm setting up my tank, and i this is the question, do you guys connect the 2 overflows?? or just let them in single lines to the sump??, thank you for any ideas or suggestions

My tank has 2 overflows I'm going to use the 2 1" lines as intake and return for my sump and the 2 3/4" lines for a closed loop.
