Question On DIY glass tank

Im going to be making a 20l glass tank with 3/8 or 1/2" glass... will this allow me to be completly rimless with no support on top or bracketing?

How high? I've built alot of acrylic tanks but no glass. I'd consult a professional.

My "guess"is 12" high rimless @ 1/2" will be ok. If there is deflection your not comfortable with you can always add a euro brace on the long sides.

It's probably fine. Glasscages uses 1/2" glass on their 30x30x24 rimless cube.

on a tank that's only 12"H, 3/8" glass would be fine. My prop tanks have a 36" X 24" footprint, are only 12" high, and I made them from 1/4" glass. But they are eurobraced. You won't see much, if any bowing in a tank that depth.
