Quick PVC cement?

I plan on changing my vinyl tubing from return pump to PVC today. How long must I wait before I can fire up the return pump after setting up?

I believe most take 24 hrs to fully cure.

I've got it wet in as little as 4 hours.

I've waited 10 minutes with no ill effects. The smaller your water volume, the longer I'd wait.

Thanks guys. It's only a 3/4" return with 4 connections. I'll set it up and then do a bit of sump cleaning while it sits. Maybe give it a couple of hrs.

I think PVC cement connection will hold water even in 1 minute. Not sure if it has to cure longer to prevent leaching stuff into water.

It's minutes. I worked with a mechanical contractor and his comment about cure time was the time it took you to get back to the main and turn on the water.

I agree with the previous posts. I have glued and put into action within 5 minutes with no negative effects.
