Quiet system

I want to put some type of damper between my pumps in my sump and the glass so you don't hear the vibration as much.
Is there something that is safe.
would the silicone potholders be ok?

We have some rubber gasket material that we use in our 65 under the pump. That seems to work well to dampen the noise.

I actually have a piece of scrap carpet under my sump and pump. I had a mouse pad to at the beginning but took it out as the carpet worked fine.

By the way, if you are using rigid pvc from the sump to the intake of the pump, you should switch to flex pvc. It will cut down on vibration.

I picked up some 1/2" insulation foam and it is helping. I put some filter pad under the return pump.
I think I am getting backpressure in my drain line because every once in a while it sounds like a toilet bowl.
The fleg is going right into the water it actually is under water in the sump. Is that correct or shoud it be above slightly.
