Like the news said in 4 months we have had record heat, an earthquake, a hurricane, and now a record snow fall in October causing more damage in NJ.

I hope everyone is safe. My house is w/o power but the new generator is kicking and powering the tank, furnace and fridges. I'm so glad I spent the money to get one after Irene....

No problems with power - but I have about a dozen huge branches on my property (15~20 feet) that have to be removed.

We faired pretty well,we have power and most of the snow that did fall is almost gone.Well wishes for those who dont have power.

Now the power company is saying Thursday till power is restored.

for what it's worth PSEG was down in my area for hurricane irene and when we called - they first said 6AM then later changed it to 8PM but then the power came back on between that. In the end we lost power for 24 hrs, but they had given us a "2 day" window. So hopefully your company is just giving out conservative estimates. I read that 3 million people were out of power so if its' any consolation you're not alone.
