hey guys, i was thinking on increasing my sumps actual bio power load, tanks been running for like 9 months now and still having bioload issues unfortunately i dont want to spend a fortune on this,
i was thinking of buying a 2-5lb bag of live sand adding it to the sump ( would this cause issues with the fish / coral in the the display? )
then adding some rock rumble over the sand to give it more surface area for life to grow
after that adding chaeto and red Gracilaria under a grow light in the sump.
i would love to add some live rock rumble but tough to find and I'm scared of adding live stuff cause of possible ich eggs..
after all that i would add a bag of pods in there to start establishing a colony
