Opposite for me

same here, but only because of heat issues. if I had a chiller it'd be 24/7. maybe with the LED upgrade it can go to 24/7. It also depends on what kinda of macro you keep. if you keep something that has tendency to go sexual then your lighting is going to be different than say somebody running cheato IMO.

I used to run mine 24/7 when I first started, then I switched to opposite. Chaeto was growing great using both methods. A few years ago I lost all my chaeto, it just died off. Recently, I got some and it's growing great under 24/7. I think you can grow it either way. I just read to be careful if you have Caulerpa because it can go sexual easier when not lit 24/7.

Hmmmm. I do have Caluerpa that snuck in from CJs sump. Maybe I will get it out of there. I was hoping to make it more of a display fuge anyway with some nicer macros in there once Reefcleaners started getting more back in stock.
