Regal in the reef

Hello
Was wondering if anyone has a regal angel in they're reef and if there is any problems with them snacking on corals or shrimp?
Thanks
Jim

dnov99 (Darren) has one in his tank... it's GORGEOUS!!

His nips (but doesn't kill) on certain corals but it's worth it because he gets to look at that beautiful fish everyday.

Jim, I have had a regal for over a year in my reef tank. He occasionally nips at zoanthids, and open brains, but never enough to kill the coral.

Just realize that every fish is different so you might get a regal that might do more damage. In my opinion it is worth the risk, as it is a spectacular fish.

I would also recommend getting one from the Red Sea, (has a yellow throat), as these are far superior specimens. Also the smaller the size the better, as the larger, older ones do not make the transition to captivity as well, and usually do not survive.
