What do you guys use as a RO/DI resevoir? I have just been using a regular 45g garbage can from Lowes. But I heard somewhere that these can somehow put phosphates back into the water?? There are probably threads about this, just too tired and lazy at the moment to search. I only have an in-line TDS meter. Which shows 0ppm out of my RO/DI unit. I have Phosphate test kits that I have tested the tank water with, and get 0ppm too, which is normal considering I have Kent Phosphate sponge in my canister filter and running a PhosBan Reactor too. The reason I am asking is because I have been battling byprosis for a while and I cannot figure out what is causing this stuff to come back after I rip it all out. Maybe I should test the water in my RO/DI resevoir with that test kit! I think maybe I should purchase a handheld TDS meter, I hate these test kits! I heard somewhere that you should use food quality storage contains for you RO/DI water, anyone else ever hear that? Not sure where I heard that.
