Alone? From what I've heard that's a No. RO/DI water has EVERYTHING removed from it. If you drink that is your only water source the water you get has no electrolytes and could upset your system's natural balance. RO water you could drink til the llamas come home. RO/DI you should limit your intake of.
 
And in response to the original question, there has been some evidence that RO/DI water in large quanities could be dangerous as it can cause an osmotic shift in your body. I wouldnt make a habit of drinking it as-is, but for juice, coffee and cooking its fine. And if you like the taste of RO/DI water then you need help! :D

I like its taste and Yes, I do need help. But I dont think one thing has to do with the other!
