Ronald McDonald House Event I'm speaking at this Tuesday

I know this is totally not reef related but I wanted to share a story with you all. While my son was in the Hospital for the first 82 days of his life. My family lived at the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick. This place was a true God send for our family. It was a home away from home. Being able to sleep right accross the street from the Hospital and walking home at 2 or 3:00 Am I will never forget.

So they asked me to speak and tell our story. This week at their Handbags for Hope Twilight Cocktail Reception & Handbag Auction. Should be interesting me, a couple of guys and a few hundred ladies fighting over Handbags.

That is really awesome along with the things that I have read you have done for the organization to give back. I knew about the organization, but honestly didn't pay attention to what they were until I heard your story. I would have liked to go to the event, but misplaced my coach handbag! LMAO! Good luck speaking

Ok, someone has to get pictures of Big Ed fighting with the ladies over handbags! LOL!

No, seriously, giving a little back can make you feel a lot better.

Here's to a successful event for a fantastic organization! Knock em Dead Ed!

Great stuff Ed. I know first hand that giving back makes you feel a whole bunch better. I’m familiar with the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, close to Children’s Hospital. I think this might have been the first one started. Great organization.

Now as far as the handbag for you, give my wife a call and she’ll help you pick out a skirt and a pair of pumps to match. Nothing sweeter than a big man in a tight skirt, a pair of pumps, and a matching handbag.

That's awesome Ed! From hearing about this a bit on our way to the last meeting at Karl's... I was really moved by what they've done for you and what you and your wife plan to do to give back.

Good luck with the speech and hope you have a good time doing it.

PS, I agree with Matt... must see pics of this.
