I found this sale shopping for some 2part.
At that price I picked up a few bottle of alk and calcium. I usually use esv but this is so much cheaper I purchased a bunch let’s see how good it is. $4 for alk and $4 for calcium $7 magnesium. that’s a good deal. The Strontium is also priced well if your tank needs it.

Yeah I did the same. I was going to spend $40
On esv 2part. This was double the amount for the same price. With free delivery so let’s see.
At the rate that I am dosing this should last me a few months.

So I am currently dosing 40ml of alk and cal a day.
The 38oz is 1,000 so each bottle is about 25 days so I got about 6 months worth.

Well I guess I will be ordering from BRS! Just got a phone call from Premium Aquatics on my order. They are completely sold out, and he needs to make a few phone calls to let customers know their orders are a no go. Hope you two get it.

Oh no that’s horrible. Let’s see if they can work something out with you.

I’ve got you all beat! Go the DIY route, and you’ll be rolling in all the dough you save.

I had been telling people that I spent 5 - 10 bucks a year to dose my tank, using mendacious mathematics (some people call this branch of mathematics statistics). However, with now having 15 years since I purchased the 50 lb bag of calcium chloride, and the alk I pick up at Sam’s Club, I can more accurately calculate that I spend less than $3 a year to dose alk and calc in my 90 DT. How do you like that for being cheap!

Here’s what I’m using for Calcium if your interested. 2 cups of Prestone Driveway heat purchased from Lowe’s to a gallon of water. This is from Randy’s 2 part. Been doing for a year
I worry about buying the wrong one. Why I never bothered to try.

I was the same way but this is what I’m using
Calcium chloride. I know it’s not food grade but this has been working for me

+1 on Paul's suggestion, I've followed Paul's DIY 2 parts recipe on my previous setups for a long time with no complaints until I got into Calcium Reactors.
I highly recommend it.
