Big thread edit. Complete re-write...
Have 2 big 'dwarf' sea hares. They're so ugly they're adorable, in a slimy monstrous way.
As most shop dwarf hares I've seen are tinyish, I picked up 2 to raise them for a bit on algae and nori, adopting one out when it got a bit larger. They arrived full blown 6" adults.
Was initially offering trade for SPS, but reconsidered. I'm most concerned about getting one of these into another tank as they both won't survive in mine for more than a few weeks.
So, now we're an adoption thread.
Contrary to belief these are not poisonous, the only concern is if they die they decompose fast. They will ink if severely threatened, though no ink in shipping, and one was attacked by serpent star, wrapped, and simply squiggled away.
These guys can survive on nori, but are for big tanks with stable parameters. Definitely not a beginner invert.
If anyone can provide a happy slug place, lemme know. Can bring to meet on Sat, or drop off between Ocean and Bergen Counties on Sunday.
