Shopping for a new skimmer tell me what you think?

Isn't the DAS basically a Deltec knockoff? Similarly, ASM knock's off EuroReef.

I have an H&S and love it. Basically the same skimmer model for model as Deltec but better build quality and a lower price.

I have an MRC (external skimmer) and love it. They even helped me upgrade my Ca reactor without taking a loss on it when we went from the 120 to the 180. Good people.

I agree, I love my MRC!

not familiar with MRC can you explain it to me? I'm going to have to upgrade soon. I have the skimmer that came with pro clear 200 series and I'm learning to hate it. I don't have a lot of head room cause of my plumbing so I'll have to go with in sump model. 150 gal. thanks for any advise.

Another vote for MRC here! We have the recirculating type and I can't say enough good things about it. It's so easy to dial in and produces great skimmate. MRC has really good customer service also.

One that is a recirc model and rated for 1.5-2x your water volume is the one I'd recommend. :)
