Silicate Remover?

As most of us know RO/DI removes a good part of Silicates from the water 96%-98%).. but then we add Silicates when we make a salt mix some more then others Has anyone tried "Chemi-pure Elite" http://chemi-pure.com/products.htm

We use chemi pure elite in all three of our tanks. It is almost a staple in the nano world for the back chambers of all in one nanos. I have never tested for silicates or anything like that but I do like it.

I have used one of those in my nano too. Saved me early on when I had problems would just hang a bad of it near my return pump.

That is correct, they even tell you not to take it out of the bag.

I wonder why, I'm sure they just don't want particles getting into the tank, but Why couldn't I open the pouches and use it in a reactor?

No, you should never cut open the bag and separate the product at all. The product ingredients do not mix evenly. If it is separated, you may not get the full benefits of the product as it is designed to do.
