Skimmer not skimming much.... found out why

My skimmer wasn't skimming as good last week. Same this week. Some days it was nice and rich, some days it overflowed back in the tank (I have the effluent dump in a 2 liter bottle inside the sump just in case it overflowed) since I have an autotopoff.

I had the windows open both weeks since it was nice and mild, figured I'd give the houseplants and tank some fresh spring air. Kept the balcony door shut today and the windows since it called for a little rain, so didn't wanna get the window sills wet just in case....

Skimmer was fine and I came home with decent nog....

Pollen counts are finagling with skimmer production, lol. Darn Pine trees. Sucks living in the middle of the pine barrens, lol.

are u kidding me thats all in ur head LOL J/K
i use to have that problem but i made a little carbon filter so as the air get's
sucked in it removes most of the stuff in the air.
