Any chance that there are any decent skimmers out there with a 5 x 7 footprint?

I measured the area and deducted the space that the inlet baffle takes up. A pump can fit underneath the inlet baffle though. I'm not sure that when skimmer makers advertise the footprint, if they are including the pump area or not or just the skimmer. It's pretty much a 5 x 7 area that the actual skimmer body can have.
Believe it or not, the skimmer that comes with this sump actually works and pulls skimmate but I know I could do better.

why not just do a hob skimmer and hang it on the old wet dry. Would that work?
