SKIMMER SHOPPING

Ello all..

I'm looking for suggestions on best possible skimmer that I don't have to empty my wallet on for my 55g. I do not have a sump so it has to be of the hang on type.

Suggestions?

I have heard good thing about these two skimmers. I have not used either though. I have used the Aqua-c remora pro and would not recomend it.

SirFragalot, look into the coralife or octopus skimmers both are decent and wont hurt your wallet to much.

I'm thinking around $200....ish. I see the top Octo hang on is 200. Has anybody used this the BH-300 F?

LOL...I know the Deltec is out of line but, I thought the Rogue was reasonable. When I see best possible I forget about the wallet.

I use an AquaC Remora on my 30 gal reef, and it works out ok. I would think the some what larger Remora Pro would do well for you 55 gal. Price on the net is about $230 + shipping.

I'd pass on the Coralife (has to be adjusted all the time). I have a Turbo-floater on my 46, set it and forget it. Skimmer sells for about $250.
