I'm going to sell my MBR157 Algae reactor. I'm asking $220 cash for this to cover most of the cost of purchasing the smaller unit ($20 of this will be donated to the club). This unit was purchased new in October from BRS, and has been running since then in my reef. New from BRS it’s $329.
There are no issues with it, it works great. I'm going to downsize to the MBR127, which is smaller. As much as I want the higher volume, the size creates a real hassle with my layout when I need to service it and I've decided that I don't want any hassles
. The unit I have is 22" tall, the smaller one is 17".
I will remove the unit from my system and clean it. It will by physically wiped down, and rinsed with white vinegar. I will get a pic up shortly of the unit in my system.
Pick up will be available in Little Egg Harbor 08087, or Eatontown 07724 (I'm in Eatontown 3 days a week, M-W-F usually).
