My 1946 BSA M20 was just sold for $400 under asking price To a guy in Washington State.. The sad part was I could never register it due to no title.. I had it imported from Australia in 2003 and Australia don't have titles.. The so called head of International titles in Trenton Didn't even know Australia don't have titles... All my US and AU customs paper work was all cleared even had a Bill of sale But still could not register the bike in NJ... There is a happy ending to this sad story.. I can start to look for lights for my 92gl

BTW true meaning of MVC.. Mentally Vexed Creatures
RIP Silver

Nnnnnnnnoooooooooooo! That thing was awesome Sid, too bad :(
I know john i have mixed emotions right now But after talking to the guy for over a week I know the bike is going to a good home and is going to be used.. A bike like that needs to be seen and appreciated.. Im more mad at the MVC that they didn't know what to do about a title.. but like i said before i can get lights for the 92gl plus catch up on some bills

Nice bike. Just so you know for future issues, you could of had a mechanics leen put on it ,this usually works .

Really nice bike Sid sorry to see it gone.

I might be getting a bike in a month or two thinking a gsxr. Don't worry once this economy takes a upwards turn you'll be back riding in no time!

My co workers wife works at the DMV....I wonder if she could have helped in any way. Too late now I guess....

The guy said he called WA DMV and told them what paper work come with the bike.. They told him no probs giving him a title as long as all the customs papers was ok..

Shoulda flown to WA and registered it there! Come on back and road it with WA plates!

Screw the NJ DMV!

That's a sweet BSA!

.... can I say screw the NJ DMV? :-X

Sorry To hear that. Beautiful Bike. I personally hate the Inspection station now. Our MVC is streamlined and just moved to a new office witch is smaller but you can get in and out in no time. I for one have never gotten a good sticker for inspection even on my 03' ram i just bought.. %^!@*^!
