So I'm going to build a calcium reactor

I have been looking and found some plans for a larger reactor. The one I have is rated for up to 150 gallons. My coral is not putting much of a demand on the reactor I have (still youngsters). I ordered some parts -the bright shiny part arrived - 2 foot clear acrylic cylinder 4 inches wide . I got the plans off here -
