It was a red letter Zoa/Paly day for me. All told I think it was 12 of them. Zoanthids.com made out like a bandit! Once they all start opening I will get some more pics. Early favorites are the Red Devil People Eater, Space Monsters (freakin' awesome, thanks Mike!!) and Tequila Sunrise.

****ty cell phone pictures cannot possibly do these pieces justice. The beautiful Clam and Ricordia are from Dr. Mac. The monti's are an aquaman, pokerstar, and rainbow, all from Jason Fox, and are stunning in person. The prism Favia is from frags unlimited, the giant super awesome chalice is from ultra corals (it hurt to leave the echinata, duncan, and acan colonies behind). The dendro is from Manhattan Aquariums. All of these are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING IN PERSON. I really could not be more happy with the haul today, although I am sure my bank account would beg to differ
All the vendors, speakers, raffle, and of course us club members were freaking awesome. Jane, Jonathan, and I had an ubelievably good time and got some mind-blowingly cool stuff. Jonathan and Jane almost had to drag me out of there at the very end. I am confident that if they did not, I'd probably end up being late on the mortgage this month LOL.

@chris - the vendors were warned not to bring any wrasses as the club felt it more important that you make your mortgage payment. HAHAHA!
LOL, They can still get me though, however it would definitely have been worse were wrasses involved. As it stands, I am an incredible sucker for montipora (they get me EVERY time), but I definitely have a more serious wrasse addiction.
Yea, Tony said he "chose" to win the Chalice this year because he already had enough big screen tv's... and then he won it! They also won a small Pico tank (3 gal) which I bought from him. I'm going to give it to my bro-in-law as a b-day present since he's been thinking of getting one.
Anyway, here's a few crappy phone pics of what I bought/won at the swap. I got in late last night after helping clean up, so the frags haven't had much time to adjust yet. Can't wait til they all open up.

4 Zoas I got from zoanthids.com Not sure of all the names, but I think they were (starting from first pic thru the 4th) Lightning Hornet, Hells Flame, one he said was "like" Black Widow, and a pink one that I liked (unknown name)
Now here's what I won in the raffles. I was lucky enough to win a 5-piece frag pack from Joe Yaiullo's 20,000 gallon tank! The bags were labeled as follows: Lithophyllon, Yellow Photosynthetic Gorgonia, Yellow Porites, Green Jansson Stylo, and Heritage Series - 21 yr. old Gorgonia. I just grouped these on my small frag rack and took one pic of them. There are some other frags I have on there as well. Bottom left is the Litho, two on the right of that is the Yellow Porites and Yellow Gorgonia, one behind those is the Green Stylo, and the one to the right of that is the 21 yr. old Gorgonia. I'm really happy with them!

Hey George, once that Hell's Flame fills out a bit, I would be interested in a frag. I got a bunch from him too and passed on that one. I wished I hadn't though! That clam is awesome too!

Really upset I couldnt have made this. I ended up having to call out of work because I got the flu so there was no way I would have been able to get there. Just able to get back to doing things around the house now.
I'll just have to hope that some people have to trim back there tanks to fit all the new stuff!

by the time I finally went "shopping" - jason fox already sold out on the rainbow (someone was asking him for one) and i'm fairly sure I didn't see the aquaman. I saw something called the "Grinch" that was similar (red of green) but I ended up not taking it. I was very tempted to - but I really needed to stay on budget - kinda like what chris said about the mortgage being more important!!!!
I bought a nice maxima from Dr. Jim - my first clam. Something made a nice meal of it overnight. It was picked clean.

And Jonathan, I'd be happy to trade you for some one of those others you got. Those are all really nice, but I'm really digging those space monsters! As soon as mine grow out a bit, I'll let you know.

Well, it shouldn't be too long for those Space Monsters, they are already eating like it's their job! Got them from Mike actually (thanks again Mike!!) and they went crazy for him.
