Something dumb

So I accidentally dropped a razor blade in the tank. Fell to the back behind rocks and cannot get it out. I tried a magnet and no luck. What's going to happen to the tank? Should I be concerned?

I've dropped plenty, some I found, some I didnt.
I never noticed any issues that were directly attributed to it. A single razor blade is not going cause an issue.

The rust won’t be an issue, think GFO.

That said, because you don’t know really what the blades made out of I wanted out of there and I agree that the telescoping magnet tool @diana a mentioned is the way to go.

Gfo is made from iron which is not bad the razor is made out of steel which is bad because it has alot of other stuff in there that are not safe.

I would get it out if you know it's there. That said, I must have knocked one in at some point and found it rusted months later. No harm done (to my knowledge).

My personal 2 cents is there is nothing beneficial that it can do.
