SPS Insurance policy

I would like a member of the club to be my Insurance policy.
I have some SPS that I want to give someone as an insurance policy in case my tank crashes.
There are few basic requirements:
1) being able to keep SPS
2)case my tank crashes I get a frag back of each coral
3) small progress report (if you loose the frag I would like to know).


Any takers?

what are these, frags of what is in your tank already?? are you going away or sumthin?

no as in he wants to pass on a frag of his corals to other people so that way if his tank crashes he can call on someone for a frag of what he lost. That way you never really lose the money for your corals (well try at least) its a great idea if really, been covered in many articles.

Actually I went on vacation for 9 days and had no one to take care of the tank, with all the storms and power outages I wanted to make sure I had a backup of some pieces to come back to.
Luckly I came back and hte tank was just as I left it.

Wish I could help out, but at this point we're working 20 hours a day on MACNA tasks so our tanks are unfortunately the first to pay the price! Hopefully we'll get through this MACNA without another crash.

I was asking about this weeks ago. I gave 2 sets out to someone local and then sold the rest I had to the LFS. Now I got 4 sqft of eggcrate space to fill with frags again!!!

If you're still looking to house some let me know. I have room. Not sure where you're at, but I can travel a bit.

;D i actually love this idea. you can see some pros and cons but i doubt most people see sharing as caring as much on this forum. good people don't get me wrong. but looks like most people want to make a buck off their frags. or not as needy. either way. that's an awesome insurance policy.

Sadly that's not how it used to be here. Not sure what changed beyond volume of people.
