Starting up my 75gal

I have a question or two about starting up my 75 gal tank I have a 40 gal corner up and running should I just set up my 75 as if it was a new set up and then just drip my fish and coral or should I just transfer everything over .

Definitely transfer the water from your old tank.. will save you some time on having to wait for the tank to cycle.

Thanks for the input everyone .i forgot to mention I have a 55 running with live rock I'm useing for my 75. I don't think the rock is fully cycled so I might use mr Tim's to cylce it and start a clean slate. I rather be safe then sorry I don't wanna lose any of my live stock since I'm going on almost a year with my gonoporia. I am keeping the corner tank runing but only keeping fish stocked. My other thing is if I transfer my water and live stock over I would need to add another 35 gals of water would that be too much of a shock to the corals

Unless you're married....then you get "I haven't seen you all day, I'm going to flush your fish if you don't spend time with me"

Hahaha that's funny I am married 6 years and the corner will be hers. After the 75 is set up and running. I told her she can get her fish she wanted which is a lion fish. A happy wife will become a happy hobby for me
