Stink Bugs

So Does anyone know of a way to kill/prevent these terrible things?

I had so many on the side of my house I went and sprayed the whole out side of my house with bayer. I think it killed what was there (50+ no exaggeration) but I know it wont prevent more from coming. I'm just so frustrated with these stupid Asian bugs. They defiantly find any little spot to squeeze in. Never knew I had so many gaps in my storm door frame or around the Front door.

I read a story on I think it was NJ.com about someone who basically glued some corrugated plastic sheets with strips between them to create a small, dark gap between the two sheets.

The idea was that stinkbugs like small, cramped, dark places, so they will seek out the gap. Then you either shake them out into a garbage bag or just throw the whole thing in and call it a day.

I'll try to find it and post a link.

Here's the links I was mentioning.

This guy has refined the traps.

Here's the original: http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-democrat/index.ssf/2010/10/stink_bugs_bothering_you_delaw.html

Here's an article from today about how he's updated the traps: http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-democrat/index.ssf/2013/10/got_stink_bugs_nj_inventors_re.html

Unrelated question: Do you lose the ability to edit posts after they've been up for a while? I was gonna just edit my last post to add this, but I couldn't, yet I could edit this after I posted this.

yeah there's a short window of time that you can edit a post.

Also thanks for the links. I'm gonna give this a try as it seems like a cheap way to help lower there numbers.
