Check your parameters first. Then plan to get them where they should be over a given period. Keep it stable and all should be well. I would not touch it, let it do it's thing. Even if it's a little bit left alive, it's a birds nest and will grow quite quick!

Params are all stable, no swings. alk 7.8-8.0 , this could have just been a dead area and i never noticed it, i will have to monitor it to make sure it doesnt spread.
