Stupidity & ATO

So yesterday morning the ATO reservoir was empty. Pulled out the 5g jug and started filling. The sensor was unplugged cause during the night was beeping, unplugged it and left it in cabinet bottom. Anyway as filling it was near the top and tried to stop but my hand slipped. The reservoir overflowed about 2 g water in the cabinet and on the floor. The sensor got wet. I placed it in a container with rice hoping to dry it out. Meanwhile I had an older one I used which seems to work . Beep is very faint compared to other one.

That's my stupidity.

You know what they say. Stuff happens. Well something like that I could fill this entire site with stories of stupid things I have done since starting the reef. At least a dozen involved ATO. Hahahaha. Glad it wasn’t worse like it dumped the fresh water in the tank. Yea I did that one as well. Lol

I know stuff happens. Just get mad at myself for doing things this dumb. Normally I hang it on the door just in case of a spill but was in a hurry.
