T5/MH setup advise needed

Ok, I am running 250W XM 10K on my 180 with 4x160W Super Actinic VHO.

I love the way some of the corals pop under T5 and I realize the VHO T12 allow more corals to glow more due to size of bulb, but am looking to increase some growth and work on color, so....

I want to swap out the VHO and place in T5. Was thinking of doing KZ Fiji Purple and Corallight or AquaBlue to pull the colors more along a 12K/14K color without the lack of growth.

All my paramters are in check, tank doing great, just want to change it up when I change my MH bulbs and ballasts in August, so figured do all the lighting.

Is anyone running T5/MH setups currently? Looking for some advice on running both. Do not want to go all T5, love my shimmer shine!

You have an excellent lighting system right now. Why mess with it? Unless you can come up with some very specific reason for switching to T5's, I'd leave everything alone.

I know everyone wants to upgrade to the latest and greatest, but I would seriously question how much better T5's would be over the VHO's you currently have.
