T5 to LED question

So, I dtropped the XR15s over the tank. There's now 2x of them over an IM30g AIO.
I removed the 4 bulb T5, going to try just the LEDs for now.
So, the big question...
As the corals were under considerable T5 coverage, should I do an acclimation with the LEDs?
I can set start level percentage and amount of days for the ramp up to 100% but I have no idea if its necessary.
When I drop the LEDs in without acclimation, it seems to be a similar (visually) level of intensity as the T5s (I do not have a PAR meter).
Thoughts and expericence appreciated.

You should have used a lux meter or app on the T5 to get a ball park figure. Then do the same with LED.
