What gets me is that this is a knock-off of the HM Digital TDS meter....that's only a couple bucks more......and this Mudder is known to be inaccurate and unreliable.
Mark, I'd try cleaning it in vinegar over night and then rinsing it well. Then, once you put in in the solution you wish to test, let it sit for a couple minutes before running the test....see if that helps.

The vinegar bath did not help. Still jumping around from 10 to 14. Is this one any good?
