Tonight I made sausage sandwiches. Sausage on garlic bread with Italian long hot peppers, red potato fries and mozzarella. All sourced from the local farms and butcher. Beautiful night to grilll and eat outside.

Celebrating the solitude of an empty house. Fried coconut shrimp to start followed by a couple of bacon cheeseburgers with pickles, fried onions and ketchup on toasted brioche buns. I usually by Schweid and Sons cab burger blend but grabbed the Whalbergers brisket blend today to try. Pretty sure I like the Schweid better. Also grabbed a couple pints of Hagen Dazs for dessert later. Enjoying a nice night of rain under the umbrella on my beck. Hope everyone enjoys a nice Labor Day long weekend.

Tonight was roast pork loin, shaved thin, on toasted French bread with mozzarella, hot peppers and gravy.

Loved my turkey dinner last night, and love leftovers, but not tonight. Tonight is a pancetta, pepperoni and hot pepper omelet with mozzarella on olive oil ciabatta bread.

Tonight; NY Strips on the grill. Topped with shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic. Creamed string beans on the side. No good bread for the fat guy.

No carbs tonight after last nights feast. Omelet with Italian meats and some mozzarella on top

New Year’s Eve dinner. We’ve been doing a fish fry the last few years. We don’t care much for going out. Cod, shrimp, broccoli and cauliflower in a beer batter. Just a little left over for a snack later.
