I’ve got some blue legged hermits in tank, just don’t know how many,, I put 12 in there and I see them all time at night but never counted them to see if all are still alive
I’ll count tonight,they only come out when dark. Hide all day
As for snails I only have few left( hermits eat them for the shell) but when I go back fishing I can get all you could ever need( I’m talking about few hundred a day)

Algae scrubber you can DIY, would be easier this way you can build it around your set up

Algae scrubber you can DIY, would be easier this way you can build it around your set up

Honestly I’ve never seen one before, but I do know I don’t wann do a refugium this time, as I don’t wanna deal with cheato it’s a pain in the a** I’m even thinking of getting rid of refugium in my 55gal setup. Anyway having never seen one it would be hard to build lol
Does it stay in sump and can u run it 24-7
Feel little stupid not knowing anything about algae scrubber

i cancelled the refugium on my current build because i didnt want it in the sump. i thought about chaeto reactor, sulfur denitrator and algae scrubber. i decided to go with carbon dosing. havent bought the doser yet but might be the least painful way to address nitrates.

My thought is I don’t want much algae in tank rather have it in sump
