Timed RODI production.

Is there a simple way to have my rodi unit come on and run automatically for like 3 hours every few days? I don't want to leave it on constantly because everytime the water drops an eighth of an inch in my topoff conainer it runs for like 10 seconds, I know that's not good.I've been running it manually twice a week for 3 or 4 hours but I do forget to turn it off. I looked into a plastic solenoid valve but I think 225 bucks is alot for something like that. There has to be a simple solution that I just don't know about. Is there?

You can get one of THESE and hook it up to a timer. I'm pretty sure that would be the easiest way to do it.

Thank you. That's more like it. I did a google search for plastic solenoids and everything I found was very expensive.
