Tiny Bubbles

Lately it appears my canister is getting air in somewhere. The spray bar is sending out many tint bubbles. It happens every 30min or so. Makes the tank look cloudy. I tried taking the filter down and setting up again no luck. I also shook it to get air out of it still no change. Anyone know why this may be happening?
Thanks

What brand is it? If it's a fluval what worked for me was using the surface skimmer and putting the spray bar low in the tank after a day or 2 it stopped.

i actually have a surface skimmer for a fluval if you want it i can bring it to the meeting if your going or if you're close you are welcome to come by and pick it up. LMK

It is a Rena Filstar XP3. Can any surface skimmer work? I have the bar as low as it can go. I would have to locate extra pieces to make it lower.

I also have the XP3, you have to make sure that the return u-tube is submerged. Also if your using the gate valve on the return also submerge it. Mine was doing the same thing I ended up getting rid of the valve and submerged the return as much as I could.

Thanks for the info. But I think I am missing a piece. The tube and spray bar are only down about 2.5" that is a far as I can get it. I must be missing some type of extension.
