To Coral RX or Bayer/water Dip Which is safer/better

its getting closer for me to start moving my tank over and trying to figure out which is the best way to dip and not fade / lose any of my corals

Corals = Red Acan, Toadstool, Duncan whisker, rasta zoas, few other zoas , palythoas , Xenias, Hammer Coral

was told the bayer method gets rid of all the pests including bristles and possibly most of the verm snails alot easier than RX and way cheaper any advice is good advice

I do both. If I can remove the frag from the plug, this would be my first step. I use Coral RX because the solution is clear. Dip in Coral RX then inspect water and frag for pests and eggs. If you find eggs you will need to make sure to clean them all off before going to next step. Next I dip in Bayer. Lastly it gets rinsed well in a large bucket of saltwater. Place in QT for 5-7 weeks.

does the coral rx drive your skimmer crazy? I know I read it changes surface tension of the water, but it always drives my skimmer crazy, to the point i need to wet skim and then restart the skimmer.

If it's messing with your skimmer, your not rinsing it well enough.

For me I dip, then remove to clean water, give them a swish around, then to another container of clean water where they sit till I'm done dipping everything. Then another swish around. I've used several different dips over the years and never had a issue adding back to tank.

Sometimes, if I know the coral is coming from a clean tank, I'll just acclimate and drop in.
Just got a few frags from a trusted member and they went straight in.
Vermitads are a pain, but you'll get them at some point regardless, in my experience with the tanks I keep they're not overly invasive.
Fire(bristle)worms I consider part of the clean up crew. They're out at lights out and clean up a lot of stuff the daytime crew misses.
A frag coming from a tank I'm dubious about I'll Coral RX in the water it was bagged in, acclimate, then add 2-3ml of peroxide, then rinse with tank water and introduce.
Never had a real problem.*
