Finally got to put this trick to use!

Use the strainer from a Maxi-Jet over the flow tube when adding Bio Pellets or Carbon to a TLF media reactor.

Anyone else have any little tips or tricks like this to making reefing a little easier?

I use the measuring cup that comes with Tide laundry detergent to do this on my RO BP reactor.

I was just pulling the flow tube up so that it was above the opening, then poured my pellets in around the tube... dropping it back down when done.

The strainer looks like a good idea though and would free up a hand. Good tip Brian.
