Tunze Magnet and Glass Thermometer with Metal Beads - not perfect together

So my clownfish have been hatching fry in the display. In my brilliant mind I thought I should add a second thermometer (main one is downstairs in sump) to monitor the temp. Prior to the fry hatching I shut downt he pumps and the water sometimes gets cool - so I add a heater directly to the display but I also wanted to monitor the team.

So i bought a cheapo glass thermo.

Well after the clowns hatched I forgot toremove the thermometer and it un-stuck from the glass and floated...right into my tunze magnet.

Wow, it sucks that happened but does look kinda cool!

That stinks, But atleast the beads are on the mag and not all over the tank

Is that a rare rusty acropora?

hope the clowns are okay, I use a digital thermometer + my RKL with good results.
