Tunze's lawyers about these WP-40 pumps

I just got this email from Gary at Champion Lighting
Just heard from Tunze's lawyers about these WP-40 pumps. Looks like they are cracking down on these pumps. You're going to have to take down the link to them This may be everyone's last chance to get them before the Lawyers kill the sales of them.
Once we get told to stop we will stop selling them.
Gary

Truthfully it'll stop the US distributors like CL from selling them. but until guys like Gary and the guy at reef angel, all the pumps came from a dealer in HK.
The Chinese will more than likely ignore the patent law and keep shipping them to the US from there directly like they have been.

i was hoping to get a wp-25 for my 40g tank. i dont think they're really out yet though.

there have been a bunch already delivered to the states, check the RC WP25 thread for more info on that. fish street has them up for sale & sold out of their current stock in minutes. they're on backorder with a ship date somewhere near June 6th from HK

says on fish-street that if you order by today it will ship on june 5th. i already have an mp10 on my 40g breeder, do you think a wp25 would be too much? Im seriously thinking about buying one of these and selling my mp10 so i will end up on top. nobody really knows how long these suckers last though.

the WP25 is stronger than an MP10 but it shouldn't be too much imo. but that depends on your rock work, corals you want to keep etc.
there's members on here with an MP40 on their 40B so 1 WP25 shouldn't be bad.
I had 2xMP10s and 2 Koralias on my 90. I've since bought a WP40 and have 2 1050 koralias behind my rockwork kicking up detrius.
It's been just short of 2 months with it so far and have no complaints. I'm running it on wave1 mode now, I used to keep it on else 24/7 for the first 5 weeks but decided to give try out having waves in the tank.

nvm you wont see that thread

Jim or anyone else who has the WP25, does it come with magnet mounts or just suction cups? If the former, do you know if the magnets will be strong enough for 1/2" glass? Looking to get one to add to the hydor 1050 in my 60g cube. Thanks.

It's a combination suction cup / magnet arrangement, I have both 40's and 25's installed on my 180, which is 1/2" glass.
