Sometimes I have the dumbest of questions....

So my new tank stand measures 48X30X35"+ high I work in and around my sump a fair deal. At least once a week that door will open. I'm painting the inside of the stand with bright White Kilz.

I need to figure out some under cabinet lighting. I will have a Light Specifically for my refugium but I need another light bright white to work in the sump area.

I've seen those halogen lights but with the heat I have NO freaking IDEA why those things even EXIST any more. Can anyone recommend a nice slim lighting setup I can use under the cabinet. Feel free to link the Depot, The Web or the Lowes or w/e.

You could try to line under the tank with a rope light that goes completely around the tank? if you get creative you could even hookup a pressure switch so it only clicks on when the doors are open :)

I was going to suggest that very same thing. Should be pretty cheap as well. I plan i doing it myself as soon as I find the switch.

I have a simple fluorescent light with simple slide switch that was already mentioned. Cheap and more than enough light.
