Upgrading lighting...need help

OK...here is why I am having trouble finding a MH fixture that will work.

1. I cannot use a hanging pendant
2. I have my Remora skimmer on the SIDE of the tank

So I am stuck finding a 48" MH system that has legs that will sit on the edge of the tank but will still allow the skimmer to hang on the side of the tank.

Any ideas?

So I took some measurements...

The legs of the light need to be the "foot" kind...not the kind that run the entire width of the light.

They need to be at least 7" apart

They need to hold the light at least 4" above the rim of the tank.

I have built a rack for my lights from 1/2" aluminum L profiles that I have bought in Home Depot fro less then 15$. Small dril, saw (dremel) and rivets and it is done in less then 30min. It sits on the top of my tank, in the tank edges, and fits inside of the tank enclosure (stand). You can set the depth to fit your needs - wide enough to support the light fixtures and narrow enough to accomodate your skimmer etc:
